Dirk Kuyt says Liverpool can still finish in the top despite defeat at Fulham.

It leaves Kenny Dalglish's side five points adrift of the Champions League places but the Dutchman is confident they will still be in the mix come the end of the season.

He told liverpoolfc.tv: "It's a huge disappointment but we need to keep going, look at ourselves and try to improve.

"We definitely want to challenge for the top four and if we want to do that we need to win these type of games.

"I thought we were unlucky because we had the chances to score."
