Dirk Kuyt has no idea what Liverpool are planning over a new managerial appointment.

Kuyt admits he was ready to quit the Reds before the sacking of Kenny Dalglish.

"My preference was to stay with Liverpool, I've always said this in the last few months," Kuyt told Algemeen Dagblad. "But under Dalglish, I had no confidence that he would give me more chances next season.

"Now it's wait and see. I do not know exactly what Liverpool will do about the next coach."
