Dirk Kuyt admits his Europa League winner could help his contract talks at Liverpool.
The Dutch forward, 30, is in talks over a new deal to keep him at the club for the rest of his career.
He joked: "It was a good time to score - but the contract talks are looking positive.
"It's about time I scored. It has been a while. We should have finished it off earlier."
