Dirk Kuyt was delighted for Liverpool teammate Andy Carroll over his brace against Manchester City.
Kuyt joined those eager to salute the performance of Carroll.
He told liverpoolfc.tv: "The players have been very happy with the signings of Andy and Luis.
"Andy's scored his first goals today - it has been tough for him after injury, but he's played very well.
"No-one is more happy than Andy, but his team-mates are happy for him too.
"He's very good in the air and can score with both feet - he's a big threat for the team."
