Liverpool hero Dirk Kuyt is delighted to see Virgil van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum flying the Dutch flag at Anfield.

Kuyt, now U18 coach at Feyenoord, hailed the pair when discussing his Foundation.

He told the Liverpool Echo: "They both do very well at Anfield and play a lot of matches as starting players.

"I think Virgil is a great player, has the right mentality and already proved his value since he moved to Liverpool. Gini has the same mentality and is a player with the lungs of a horse.

"They both started in the final of the Champions League, and I still think we were very unlucky in that match."
