Dirk Kuyt has no problem being pushed back into midfield for Liverpool.
After their win over West Ham United, the Dutch attacker told liverpoolfc.tv: "Torres is a great player.
"Some people were talking about him not scoring for a few games but he is one of the best strikers every week even if he doesn't score.
"I played on the right again. We played with three midfielders with a little bit more up front. I just try to do my best during my time and it doesn't matter if it is on the right or behind the striker, I just want to be important for the team. That is what it is all about.
"As a Liverpool player you always know you have to win games. It was very sad that we had always lost two games but that can happen in the Premier League and you just have to be ready for the next game. And that is what we do and focus on our own games."
