The Dutchman credits his scoring run to the arrival of Suarez, who has replaced Chelsea striker Torres at Anfield.
He explained to Barend & Barend: "Torres is a finisher, who lives for his goals.
"If I was paired with Torres, I always played more to produce chances for him. With Luis there is currently more give and take. Luis is always in action and full of ideas.
"He gives the ball then runs the channels. He can be a bit selfish, but also will lay the ball off when he can."
