Dirk Kuyt is desperate for Liverpool to return to winning ways today against Blackpool.

The Reds face Blackpool looking to claim a first league victory since they saw off West Brom on August 29 and the Dutch star is confident Roy Hodgson's side can use the clash as a springboard to kick-start their season.

"At Liverpool you need to win every game and when we don't players and fans will be disappointed," Kuyt told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"Everyone is working hard in training, so it is just a matter of time until you see the real Liverpool."

He added: "It's too early to think about what we can do this season. But when you play for Liverpool, the aim is to win every game. Once we win some games in a row then we can look at what we can achieve."
