Tomasz Kuszczak wants the chance to establish himself as Manchester United's new No1.

The Polish keeper has kept clean sheets in his three starts this season as back-up to veteran Edwin van der Sar.

Now he insists: "I feel ready to be first choice. It is my big target, to play every game. When the boss needs me, I'm ready."

Kuszczak, 26, signed a new four-year deal at United in the summer.
