Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has compared Kurt Zouma to club legend Marcel Desailly.
The 20-year old French centre-back was paramount as the Blues defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the Capital One Cup final at Wembley on Sunday and his performance drew comparisons with ex-French star Desailly who was at Stamford Bridge between 1998 and 2004.
"Our new Marcel Desailly worked hard in the week," Mourinho said.
"The kid did a fantastic job for us."
Zouma joined Chelsea in the summer after his loan spell with former club Saint-Etienne and has made 17 appearances in all competitions, including 14 starts.
