Sergio Aguero has reiterated his desire to return to Independiente once his contract with Manchester City ends in 2020.
The 29-year-old started his career with the Argentinian club before joining Atletico Madrid in 2006. He then moved to City in 2011, where he has since established himself as the club's record goal scorer.
And he says that in two years time he intends to call an end to his career with the Sky Blues and return to his homeland.
Speaking to Fox Sports Argentina, he said: "I always said that I would like to return to Independiente when my contract ends with City, which is in 2020.
"I am not thinking about that now. I am focused on finishing the season well and reaching the World Cup."
