Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul insists he sees his future on Tyneside.

Feyenoord want to bring him back to Holland, but Krul told the Evening Chronicle: "I am frequently reminded of my UEFA Cup appearance against Palermo some seasons ago.

"I just can't describe the deafening noise that the fans in the stands created.

"It was painful to the ears.

"It's about time to turn the page and begin a new chapter of success.

"I'm ready to get to work."
