Ralph Krueger is happy to take the position of new chairman at Southampton.
The former ice hockey coach has just helped Canada win Olympics gold and actually turned down five NHL jobs to take his new Saints role.
Krueger said: "The potential is unlimited. This league is going worldwide. The sports department here is working but the commercial department is not.
"We have a huge gap between where we are today and where we need to be commercially. That needs to be closed.
"I am not here to be popular. If when my time ends, people respect what happened here then I have done my job."
