Southampton chairman Ralph Krueger rates their 8-0 rout of Sunderland a historic result.
Krueger feels the victory will never be forgotten.
"I know that everybody's gone right back to work, but it was a special day that we will remember forever," said Krueger told the Saints Foundation.
"It's really a product of so many things that have been going on here in the last months.
"The end product is Ronald (Koeman) and the team on the pitch, and when they win like that, everybody wins.
"We realise it's only three points, but let's enjoy it and see it also as a confirmation that we are doing more right than wrong right now.
"We do all of the other things we do so we can enjoy the matches, and it was truly a couple of hours that I treasured every second of."
