Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has jumped to the support of coach Carlo Ancelotti.

According to Kroos, his club would be wrong to fire the Italian.

"All I can say is he's an absolutely top coach," Kroos told Germany's Sky Sports.

"Given the way we played today, you can't say we had a bad coach on the sideline.

"Hopefully everybody knows that."
