Kroenke set to increase Arsenal stake

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will be encouraged by news that Stan Kroenke is set to increase his stake in the club.

The Daily Mail says Wenger may be encouraged by talk of Danny Fiszman possibly selling his stake in the club to Kroenke.

With almost 25 per cent, Fiszman is the major shareholder and it is thought he could sell once he has gained Swiss residency, which would allow him to off-load his shares without paying a capital gains tax bill that could amount to as much as £40million.
