Stan Kroenke has bought 10 more Arsenal shares, moving him even closer to the 30% threshold that will require him to make a formal takeover bid, reports BBC Sport. The latest purchase means that the US billionaire and Gunners director now owns 29.9% of the club's shares.
The American has gradually increased his stake in Arsenal this year through a number of different share transactions.
If a shareholder's stake in a company reaches 30%, he or she has to offer to buy the entire stockholding.
