El Mundo Deportivo says Krkic will pen a deal to 2013 next Thursday - on his 18th birthday. The deal will carry a new £60 million buyout clause.

Krkic has already rejected a bumper offer from Chelsea earlier this summer as he is settled at Barca and sees his future at the Nou Camp.
