Two goals from Krisztian Adorjan weren't enough as Liverpool lost 3-2 to Inter Milan in yesterday's NextGen clash.

Adorjan netted twice for Rodolfo Borrell's side and the starlets can take a lot of positives from their display.

There were only four survivors from the U21 team that beat Chelsea 4-1 on Friday night and the majority of the side consisted of players from Steve Cooper's U18 squad.

NextGen Series holders Inter Milan fielded five of the squad that beat Ajax in the final of the competition last season.
