Kreis targeting more silverware with MLS Cup finalists Real Salt Lake

Real Salt Lake head coach Jason Kreis believes his side deserves plenty more silverware in the Rio Tinto Stadium trophy cabinet.

The Utah club have taken out the 2013 Western Conference final on the back of their 5-2 aggregate win over Portland Timbers and the boss is now looking forward to plenty more success, including the MLS Cup in which they will meet Sporting Kanas City in early December.

"For me, the most rewarding thing is not about getting to the MLS Cup. The most rewarding thing is that, finally, this group has won a trophy. Another trophy," he told reporters after the match.

"Frankly, in my honest opinion, this team deserves more trophies than they have. They've put themselves in a position to win so many times and have just been unfortunate not to."

A proud Kreis added: "I think that this is a very deserved trophy, both for what we've done over the regular season and certainly in the playoffs. But more so for what we've done now for five years in a row."
