Tottenham midfielder Niko Kranjcar has hailed Aaron Lennon as the best winger in the Premiership.

Kranjcar, like Lennon, was outstanding for Spurs in victory over Manchester City.

"Lennon is probably the best in the league at the one-on-one situation and once he has a defender isolated he is going to beat him," said Kranjcar, 25.

"Aaron is in great form. His pace is fantastic and his delivery is getting better all the time. If he continues and stays clear of injuries, then surely he can have a big impact at the World Cup in South Africa in the summer. As for me, this is my most consistent season and I hope it continues.

"The team are playing well and this is the best squad we have had. And that is helping me along."
