Niko Kranjcar is adamant Harry Redknapp's Portsmouth can earn a "double" qualification for next season's UEFA Cup by winning the FA Cup and finishing fifth in the Premier League.

Kranjcar's superbly struck second-half goal earned Pompey a 1-0 win, their ninth in the last 11 fixtures, at West Ham on Tuesday night and cut the gap to fifth-placed Everton to just four points.

Kranjcar, who topped an impressive individual performance with a sweeping right-foot strike in the 61st minute, said: "We played great.

"The manager had to make changes from last Saturday's team but the three players who came in were tremendous.

"Some people may have thought our Premier League season was over but I think reaching the FA Cup final has taken all the pressure off us in the league.

"We feel we can go out there and express ourselves and, with our midfield and back four so strong, I thought we dominated West Ham eventually.

"I really believe our squad is good enough to overcome Everton and we will certainly give it our best shot to finish fifth. We just aim to keep winning all our games."
