Kranjcar insists on Portsmouth stay

Niko Kranjcar has again declared his commitment to Portsmouth.

Kranjcar told The News: "My perspective is I'm a Portsmouth football player until the club want to sell me. I'm not thinking about the transfer talk which is going on.

"My only view is that I'm happy here. Obviously, every player has ambitions to play for the biggest clubs in the world. But I'm still patient and will remain at Portsmouth to such time as they say they don't need me.

"There is no reason not to be honest about the situation. Of course I dream of playing for the top four clubs in England or the top three clubs in Spain or Italy.

"Of course I dream of playing in the Champions League and winning the Champions League with the kind of sides who can achieve that. But there is no need to rush because I believe I'm in a team that I can improve in.

"The future will bring what the future will bring, but I'm a Portsmouth player and will be until the day the club want to sell me."
