Niko Kranjcar hopes for more playing chances at Tottenham this season.
The Croatia international has begun the season as an ever-present for Spurs.
Kranjcar said: "It's great to have the opportunity to play and hopefully play more often.
"Of course it was a difficult time for me last season. I enjoy being here at Spurs, I always think about the club first but I love playing football and it's tough when you are not doing that.
"I didn't get my chances last season but every time I was selected I gave it my best because that is the way I was brought up.
"Now I'm trying to do the same this season. I'm delighted to feature in our first couple of matches and I'm hoping I can get more games."
