Niko Kranjcar is determined to re-establish himself at Tottenham.
The Croatian midfielder came close to leaving in the summer, having missed out on a regular first-team place following the arrivals of Sandro and Rafael van der Vaart last season.
But Kranjcar has started the first three games and said: "Of course it was a difficult time for me last season. I enjoy being here at Spurs. I always think about the club first but I love playing football and it's tough when you are not doing that.
"I didn't get my chances last season but every time I was selected I gave it my best because that is the way I was brought up.
"Now I'm trying to do the same this season."
