Leicester City are moving closer to completing the signing of HNK Rijeka ace Andrej Kramaric according to reports.
The 23-year old striker has agreed personal terms to move to the King Power Stadium on a three-and-a-half-year deal but he has thus far been unable to obtain a UK work permit.
However, the Football Association has backed the visa application despite the fact Kramaric does not the international experience required to be granted one automatically.
"Leicester City Football Club has today (Monday) received a Governing Body Endorsement from the Football Association to support the work permit application of Andrej Kramaric," read a Foxes statement.
"The FA endorsement allows the club to apply for clearance from the UK Border Agency. Once a work permit is granted, Andrej's move to Leicester City from Croatian side HNK Rijeka will be made official."
It is believed that Leicester and Rijeka have agreed a fee of £9.5million for Kramaric who has netted 28 goals in 31 appearances in all competitions this season.
