Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic says they must learn from defeat to Real Madrid.

Inter played in China yesterday, losing 3-0 to Real.

“We're still in the preparation phase but Real Madrid put in an excellent performance," Kovacic said after the final whistle.

“These results happen. We need to grow, we're doing everything we can during pre-season to be ready for the start of the season."
