Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic would welcome Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi to the club.

Icardi has been linked with Real this season.

“I have played with [Icardi], he's a very good player who scores a lot of goals," Kovavic said, quoted by Marca.

“But we have the best striker in the world, which is Karim (Benzema). Icardi is good and could help us for sure, but I don't talk about signings."

Icardi has stated he is happy where he is.
