Kouyate urges West Ham to start picking up the points

Struggling West Ham need points on the board according to Cheikhou Kouyate

Slaven Bilic's side have endured a disappointing start to the season and are languishing in 17th place - just one point above the relegation zone.

"The most important thing for us to do is to go and get the three points when we play West Brom," he told West Ham's official website.

"We are in real need of points now.

"It doesn't matter if it is me or one of my colleagues that scores, what will please us the most is for us to go and get all three points and then push on in the league," he insisted.

"We should have been able to take the three points from the Watford game," added the Senegal midfielder.

"We were leading by two goals, we started really well and I think that we were in control.

"We tried to pick ourselves up in the second half, but we were unable to do so and these are errors that we will learn from and won't be committing again in future matches," he insisted.
