Wigan Athletic midfielder Jason Koumas has won over manager Steve Bruce after his performance in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Manchester City.

Koumas appeared on his way out of the JJB in January, but Bruce now maintains: "Jason has been knocking on the door and I thought he took his chance. He showed he can be disciplined."
