Kostas Manolas has intimated he expects to stay with Roma.

The defender has been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal.

“At one point we were fifth, but then we went on a run," Manolas recalled to Roma Match Program.

“We've picked up a lot of wins in the League, and only one defeat, against Juve. It was a good recovery, but we have to do well from the start next season.

“What did Spalletti change? The training sessions are more intense. Spalletti is the same if things go badly or if they go well.

“He'll highlight the mistakes we made and ask us to improve them. In football it's never enough… The results are proof that we've done a good job.

“We were behind Inter, Fiorentina and Napoli. We recovered and left our pursuers behind, we've done very well."
