Despite missing the finals for the first time since the A-League's inception, Sydney FC will stick with current coach John Kosmina.

There was speculation mounting that new owners of the club would make a fresh start but director Scott Barlow confirmed the former Adelaide United coach would still be at the helm for the 2009/2010 season.

"John's contract extends to the end of next season and we see no reason why we wouldn't honour that contract at this point in time," Barlow said.
