Sydney FC boss John Kosmina's actions from the weekend's clash with the Wellington Phoenix have been dealt with by the two clubs. Kosmina was heard to make a remark to Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert after the match and words then flew between the pair.
Yesterday, the Phoenix wanted answers from Sydney FC but it seems the issue has been sorted by the club CEOs, Sydney's Stefan Kamasz and Wellington's Tony Pignata.
"As far as they are concerned, the matter is finished," Kamasz told The Herald.
"They said it was only an exchange of words and nothing else and they are not pursuing it any further. As far as John (Kosmina) is concerned, I spoke to him to today and he gave his version of the incident.
"He explained what happened and that there was nothing more than an exchange of words.
"The matter is now closed."
