Koscielny tells Arsenal teammates: It's not just talent. It's FIGHT!

Laurent Koscielny has told his Arsenal teammates they must start "fighting" for eachother.

After their draw at Chelsea, it has helped set a benchmark Koscielny has urged his team-mates to follow.

“The Premier League is very long," he said. “It's a marathon. We lost two games in our first three games and we finished below fourth place [last season]. We need to be consistent in our game and I think the last two against Bournemouth and Chelsea we did it.

“So the most important thing is to keep this for the other games, to stay focused together. It's not just with talent that we will win games, it's to all be together, to fight together to get the best results. We can do it but now we need to show that every game.

“Every game is difficult in England. You have no lower teams and if you are not ready, it is not about talent. It's about commitment and focus on what we want to do. If you are ready to win the duels, win the second balls and after that play your football, then we can win against West Brom.

“But we need to put all the ingredients into the game to get the best result for us. We won the FA Cup, we won the Community Shield, but the Premier League is very different because it's during nine or 10 months. It's the team who can be regular who will win the title. Every year we had a good run at the beginning or at the end, but not always during the year.

“It's difficult to win the title like that, so I hope we can be more consistent in our results. At the end, it's nice to play well but the most important thing is the three points. Sometimes you need to win just 1-0 with bad football but have the three points at the end. We need to learn about this."
