Korean broadcaster seals Man Utd deal

Premier League champions Manchester United have agreed a three-year contract with Korean broadcaster SPOTV, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The agreement will see the Éclat Entertainment-operated channel carry the Red Devils' pay-TV channel, MUTV, for the next three seasons.

According to an official press release, SPOTV reaches over nine million homes in Korea. No financial information was released.

United, who claim to have a 'global community of 659 million followers', have similar deals in place with Saudi Telecom Company, Fiji TV, Sky New Zealand and Thailand's True Corporation Plc.

Manchester United's group managing director Richard Arnold said: "This partnership with SPOTV represents a fantastic opportunity for Manchester United's 15 million followers in Korea to further engage with the club.
