Korea will meet Paraguay in the Round of 16 of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt.
Hong Myung-bo's young stars finished second in Group C after defeating the USA 3-0 in their final group stage match and have advanced to the knockout phase of the tournament.
They will now take on Paraguay on Tuesday morning - their first appearance in the final 16 since 2003.
Hong was confident his team would keep progressing through the stages despite a short turnaround between matches.
"The difference is only one day, but it makes it harder for us mentally as well as physically," he said.
"But I have trained my boys and prepared them under the assumption that we will take all seven games including the final.
"My boys can recover very quickly," added Hong.
