Korb signs new DC United contract

DC United have announced that they have re-signed defender Chris Korb.

The 26-year old joined the Washington club from the University of Akron via the 2011 MLS SuperDraft and has now penned a new deal which will keep him at the club for the foreseeable future.

"We are pleased to have re-signed Chris to a new deal," said DC general manager Dave Kasper.

"He has grown in each of his three seasons at the club, and his versatility to play at either outside back position provides us with great flexibility. We look forward to having Chris on board as we build for the future."

Since arriving at the club, Korb has racked up 68 appearances in three season for the Black and Reds.
