Talented midfielder Koo Ja-cheol has left K-League club Jeju United for German Bundesliga outfit VfL Wolfsburg.
The 21-year old was a star for South Korea at the recent Asian Cup, leading the competition with five goals as the Taeguk Warriors finished in third place.
He has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Wolfsburg, delighting sporting director Dieter Hoeness.
"Despite his young age, Koo Ja-Cheol was one of the top performers in South Korea's team," Hoeness told the club's official website.
"He is not only a goal threat, but can play in nearly all positions in the middle."
