Geoffrey Kondogbia is eager to play for Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini.

The former AS Monaco midfielder joined Inter this week.

Italian-based representative Paolo Schiavone told fcinter1908.it: “Mancini is a great Coach and Kondogbia is convinced that under his tutelage he can become an even better player.

“It's not true to say he was down to details with Milan. He never had any sort of agreement with other clubs. He wanted Inter and he got Inter.

“He is very happy and I thank all the fans for the warm welcome. He can't wait to wear his new Number 7 jersey."
