Geoffrey Kondogbia is confident his game will improve playing for Inter Milan.
Serie A is widely considered to be more tactically rigorous than Ligue 1, but the 22-year-old says that's part of the appeal.
“I know, that's part of the reason I'm here. It's an area where I have to improve. I think this League will make me better, it's very important for me to be here.
“I admired the English League, like all young people, but I also knew the quality of the Italian teams, because when i was little it [Serie A] was the best League.
“Now the League is gradually trying to regain its place, I think it's a good time to come and play in Italy.
“Currently I find it easiest to link the defence and the attack, I think that's my strong point.
“Like everyone, I have certain weaknesses, but at the moment my main quality is the power and ability to link defence and attack.
“My role models? Patrick Vieira was a great French player, a legend in France. It won't be easy, but I'll give my all to do what he did or - why not? - even better."
