Vincent Kompany has urged Manchester City teammates to bounce back after their disappointing defeat to Everton.
"It was one of those nights and it was a bit frustrating at the end but as a group we have to learn out of this situation," the Belgian told City's website.
"It's hard, but the only way to deal with it is to keep our heads up and work hard in training and focus on the next game.
"We've had it against Liverpool and the last thing we should do is start doubting in ourselves. We still believe strongly and I'm sure the next game will confirm the fact that mentally we are strong."
Kompany added: "It could have been 1-1 or 2-2 but a draw would have been a fair result. The goal in the last minute was a bit too much.
"With a little bit of luck we would have scored the first goal and then that happens with them getting a goal in the last minute from a set piece. That is the first thing a coach says can't happen. It is frustrating but we have to learn from this."
