Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany says they will be stronger for the Carlos Tevez incident.
The City defender insists that Roberto Mancini's men will not allow the latest row to derail their season.
Tevez refused to appear as a substitute in the 2-0 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night but Kompany said: "The negative things people say about us only bring us close together as a team.
"No doubt people will be expecting Manchester City to fall apart after what happened in Munich, but that isn't going to happen."
