Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany believes he and his teammates will not be too downcast by Tuesday's loss to Juventus.
City took the lead in the 57th minute through a Giorgio Chiellini own-goal but conceded twice late as the Bianconeri snatched all three points at the Etihad Stadium.
Despite the loss, centre-back Kompany feels it was a positive performance against a very good team which will hold City in good stead.
"We played against a very good team, last year's finalists, and they did very well," he said.
"We are a little unhappy but we can take confidence to the next game.
"The Italians are smart. They are a well-disciplined team, they know what to do."
