Vincent Kompany has urged Manchester City not to get carried away following their fine start to the season.
City struck first blood in the title race by claiming a fine 3-0 victory over champions Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The convincing nature of the victory over the Blues has led many to believe that City are now the team to beat in the Premier League but captain Kompany is urging his side to remain calm amid the euphoria.
"Let's not get carried away. It's only two games and there are many to play," said Kompany.
"It's great we have done what we have so far, but as much as my performances can influence the team, the team influences the performances of every individual as well and all of us enjoyed it."
