Vincent Kompany has handed Manchester City a fresh injury scare.
Kompany has been sent for a scan by Belgium due to concerns over a calf injury.
The defender, who endured an injury-strewn campaign at the Etihad Stadium last season, is currently with the Belgian squad ahead of a friendly clash with Australia.
But boss Marc Wilmots tweeted this morning that Kompany will not train with the squad today after being sent for a scan on his calf.
