Aleksandar Kolarov admits he had plenty of offers to leave Manchester City this summer.

The Serbia fullback has signed a new deal with City.

"I have extended my contract and I'm staying here," Kolarov told Sky Italia. "I was associated with AS Roma, Inter Milan and Juventus, but instead I was about to sign with another Italian team.

"However, at this point I do not doubt I'll stay."

Kolarov is understood to have been talking about Fiorentina.
