After yesterday's 0-0 draw at home to Levante, Valencia coach Ronald Koeman admitted he was anxious to get new £12 million signing Ever Banega into his team.

"Today, in the second-half of the match, there was too much space between the midfield and attack and he can give meaning to the team in those situations, with a stronger support for the front players, with more depth thanks to his passing," said Koeman.

"He's a great player, but that does not mean that at his age he is going to be a player who can solve our problems alone, he also needs to improve."
