Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is still on the lookout for more transfer targets after completing a loan deal for QPR defender Steven Caulker.

The Saints will start their European campaign when they play their first leg Europa League qualifying clash against Vitesse at St Mary's on Thursday, and Koeman is keen to beef up his squad to help them compete in Europe.

"I think still we need some players more to have really competition in our squad," he said.

"We are working on it and sometimes you need a little bit more time. "We are not in a hurry because we like to have the players what we like to have in the team and sometimes you need more time for that."
