Southampton boss Ronald Koeman will look to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window after losing three key players to injury. Saints ended the 1-0 loss to Arsenal with 10 men, having used all three substitutes when Toby Alderweireld suffered a hamstring injury.

"A lot of midfielders are injured and that creates a lot of problems," Koeman told BBC Radio Solent.

"I will speak to the board about what we need and what we would like to do."
