Southampton boss Ronald Koeman was delighted with the welcome he received from St Mary's fans yesterday.
Koeman was happy to see Saints fans in good numbers for their defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.
"We've spoken to the press but not yet in this way so it was a good moment to do that, so thanks to the fans for their welcome for what I got today.
"It was great. It was a warm welcome and I didn't expect that, so I thank the fans for that. It was a pity for them that we lost today, but we will keep changing things for the next week."
